Afghanistan Chamber of Agricultural and Livestock Production Hosts Dinner Reception for Foreign Guests

On the sidelines of the First International Agriculture and Livestock Exhibition of Afghanistan, the Afghanistan Chamber of Agricultural and Livestock Production hosted a dinner reception for foreign guests, traders, and officials with the aim of strengthening relations, expanding joint cooperation, and introducing Afghanistan’s agricultural capacities.

The dinner was hosted by Haji Khan Mohammad Forotan, Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, and was attended by members of the Chamber’s leadership and executive board. A number of government officials, traders, and representatives of companies from the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of India were also present at the event.

During the ceremony, Mawlawi Sadr Azam Osmani, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of Afghanistan, expressed his appreciation for the participation and presence of domestic and foreign guests at the First International Agriculture and Livestock Exhibition of Afghanistan. He emphasized the importance of holding such programs in promoting agricultural cooperation. Describing Afghanistan as an agricultural country, he called for the continuation of exhibitions and similar programs in the future.

Mr. Moghaddasi, Deputy Head of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, also expressed his appreciation for the organization of the event and announced Iran’s readiness to expand joint cooperation with Afghanistan in various agricultural fields. He emphasized that Iranian companies are fully prepared to cooperate with Afghan companies and agricultural stakeholders in developing and advancing various sectors.

During the dinner, the participants emphasized the importance of strengthening trade relations among Afghanistan, Iran, and India, creating greater opportunities for cooperation among private-sector companies, and utilizing shared capacities in the agriculture and livestock sectors.

The event was held in a cordial atmosphere and provided an opportunity for officials, traders, and representatives of domestic and foreign companies to exchange views on expanding and strengthening future cooperation. cooperation agreements were signed between a numbers of companies from the three countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Indian delegation expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the members of the leadership of the Chamber of Agricultural and Livestock Production of Afghanistan for their valuable cooperation and efforts in organizing and managing the First International Agriculture and Livestock Exhibition of Afghanistan.
