Tripartite Cooperation Agreement Signed for the Organization of the Afghanistan International Agriculture and Livestock Expo 2026
As part of efforts to strengthen international cooperation and expand investment opportunities in the agriculture and livestock sector, a tripartite cooperation agreement was signed between the Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock Products, the Afghanistan International Exhibition Center, and the Northern Seed Association of India.
The agreement aims to establish a joint framework for the planning, coordination, promotion, and successful organization of the Afghanistan International Agro Expo 2026, which is scheduled to take place in Kabul from 11 to 16 August 2026 (20–25 Asad 1405).
Under the agreement, the Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock Products, as the official organizer of the exhibition, will be responsible for overall national and international leadership and coordination, engagement with government institutions, embassies, domestic and international organizations, and the strategic management of the event.
The Afghanistan International Exhibition Center will be responsible for providing the exhibition venue, managing operational activities, delivering exhibition services, allocating exhibition booths, and coordinating the technical operations of the event.
The Northern Seed Association of India, through its extensive professional network, will promote the exhibition in India and other countries, invite seed producers, agricultural industries, fertilizer and pesticide manufacturers, investors, trade delegations, and other stakeholders in the agriculture sector, and cooperate in organizing Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings to create new opportunities for economic cooperation between domestic and international companies.
This tripartite partnership represents an important step toward the internationalization of the Afghanistan International Agriculture and Livestock Expo. It will facilitate the participation of a larger number of international companies, promote the transfer of modern technologies, expand trade, attract investment, and foster business partnerships among Afghanistan, India, and other countries.
The Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock Products believes that organizing this exhibition will further showcase the country’s vast agricultural and livestock potential, expand export markets, strengthen regional cooperation, and create new opportunities for producers, investors, and business communities.
